Wood Fired Vase

Our ceramic ware is proudly created in the Mystery Creek Ceramics studio using traditional methods and innovative processes.

Being thrown on the potter's wheel and wood-fired to cone 10 allows the different natural coloured clay and glazes to speak for themselves - autonomously formed under the potter's hand and kiln.  Within our wood-fire kiln spontaneity sparks unique effects when soda reacts with silica  - matte flashing patterns juxtaposition with high gloss colour striations.

Enjoy the sensory experience of the organic texture when holding your mug or vase - an element of nature transformed into your singular piece.
