This very popular speckled, all-purpose body is moderately groggy with 20% added grog with particles up to 0.5mm. Useful firing range is 1000C to 1250C. Fired colours are tones of grey.
Total shrinkage at 1150C is 8.6%. At 1250C 11%
Water absorption at 1150C is 5.5% at 1250C it is 1.8%
