Mudwires Clay Wire Cutters
Handles on the Mudwires are made with a durable polymer & are shaped to give you a comfortable ergonomic grip without having to wrap the wire around your fingers. Mudtools wire is made of a high grade braided stainless steel cable which is stronger than fishing nylon and more resistant to kinking that common cable or solid wire.
Black Heavy Duty: The big brother of the Standard Green Mudwire general-use wire. The heavy gauge wire is built to take on the big jobs and groggy clay. Wire length is approximate 43cm but may vary slightly.
Green Standard: Ergonomically designed to be a pleasure to use. The handle is made with a durable polymer and is shaped to give you a comfortable grip without having to wrap the wire around your fingers. The Mudtools Mudwires Green Standard is suited for a standard 33cm wheel-head and makes a clean cut. You’ll use it every day. Total length is approximate 38cm but may vary slightly.
Orange Short Standard: Perfect for potters who work small. The shortened wire eliminates the need to wrap inches of wire around your fingers. Wire is approximately 23cm but may vary slightly.
Pink Short Curly: Perfect for potters who work small. This is more than just a cut-off tool. As you pull the wire through the clay, it leaves a beautiful pattern. Use it for faceting and you'll get a surface that looks beautiful on wood-fired or salt-fired pots and under glazes that break (like celadon or temeku). Extends up to a max total length of approximately 23cm.
Red Curly: As with the pink Mudwire, this coiled wire leaves a beautiful pattern. Use it for faceting and you get a surface that looks beautiful on wood-fired or salt-fired pots and under glazes that break. Extends up to a max total length of approximately 38cm.
