Magic water

Magic water is helpful to use when the bond between two pieces of clay may be likely to crack during drying of bisque firing. Cracks may occur when one piece of clay dried faster than the other which is likely to occur when one mass of clay is smaller the the other (such as a mug with handle) , or when one piece of clay is applied to another piece which is already leather-hard.
