Two-Day Nerikomi Workshop

28th and 29th March 2026

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This is an opportunity to dive into the advanced techniques of Nerikomi with me in my studio. This workshop has only 4 spaces and you will be encouraged to bring your own unique style to the nerikomi technique. 

Over two days, you’ll learn how to stain clay, layer it to create intricate patterns, and build functional tableware. You will learn about paper clay and its unique properties and walk away from the weekend with new skills, functional nerikomi items and a new tool (coloured clay) in you pottery tool box. 

Details:

• All materials are included, along with lunch each day and firing if required.
• We will be working in a cone 6 clay body.
• Please bring your favourite pottery tools and a dust mask.
• Prior experience working with clay is required. Experience may be in any clay discipline, but a basic understanding of fundamental techniques and processes is required.
• Bookings are listed under one day, but this covers both days of the workshop.
