One-day Glaze Making Workshop

Join me in my studio on 15 November, from 10am to 3pm, for a one-day glaze making workshop. Limited to just 6 participants, this hands-on workshop is designed for potters with some experience who are interested in creating their own glazes and developing a unique glaze style for their work.

In this workshop you will:

• Select a glaze (recipe or photo) you want to work with
• Make it, then develop a range of colours using the same base recipe
• Learn what makes up a glaze recipe and how to adjust it
• Mix up to 20 small test batches of glaze
• Take away the skills to continue glaze development in your own practice

What to bring:

• A dust mask
• Test tiles in at least two clay body colours, including the clay body you use most often
